My oily-dehydrated skin just drinks it up! It doesn't feel sticky or tacky even after multiple layers. My skin does indeed look noticeably glowing with daily usage, eventhough it's only been just over a week of incorporating it in my routine. I will definitely continue using it as my skin loves fermented ingredients and this works amazing so far! It has a strong floral-citrusy scent, which reminds me a lot of the rose syrup cordial we use to make air sirap rose 🤣🌹 My mom can smell this from across the room whenever I use this in my routine 😂 That's how strong the scent is, which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your skin and/or nose. Overall, I would say that this essence-toner hybrid is a must try for those who enjoy using fermented skincare, don't have sensitive skin and looking for something to add hydration and extra glow to your skin.

Volume: 150ml 💭 My thoughts As its name indicates, this is a watery type essence. It's very runny and lightweight, thus absorbing into the skin immediately. This essence has an earthy, ginseng scent that I actually quite enjoy 😆 The lightweight and non-sticky texture makes it easy for layering multiple times. Hence it's perfect for the 3/5/7-skin method and for toner masking, also known as CSM (Chizu Saeki Method). I find this essence to be moderately hydrating. My oily-dehydrated skin would need at least 2-3 layers for optimum hydration. It's also quite soothing from the added panthenol, allantoin and ginseng extracts in the formula. This would be a good option for oily to combination skin types in need of extra hydration, but may not be hydrating enough for dry skin folks. Overall, I think it's a nice hydrating essence and a decent product to start getting into hanbang skincare. It has a naturally pale pink-purple hue to it due to the pink phytoplankton. Has a subtle, calming eucalyptus scent 🌿 💭 My thoughts Despite the viscous texture, it absorbs into my skin easily. The finish is just slightly tacky but goes away once I applied my serums and creams. As suggested by the brand, only 2ml of essence is needed per use so a little goes a long way. One layer is enough for me, the most I've applied was two layers when my skin feels extra dehydrated. The immediate result or feel is plump and hydrated skin. It's also quite soothing. While I don't really see the claimed improvement on my blemishes, but I do believe that my skin looks less dull and more fresh after using this essence regularly. I've been using this for awhile now and I actually really enjoy having it in my routine for the hydration it provides. I would recommend this essence for all skin types and those looking for a multipurpose hydrating product (brightening, soothing, anti-aging) 🙌

This is the perfect dupe for the SK-II essence. It doesn’t work as well as SK-II, but for the price point, it works good enough! This is a must try for anyone who wants to try the SK-II essence, but is on a budget!

I love this product ? it makes my skin feel smoother, plumper and softer! It helps with skin texture and brightens up my skin.

The Snail Mucin 95 + Peptide Essence contains 95% snail mucin filtrate. It also has 5 diifferent peptides, adenosine, allantoin and sodium hyaluronate. It is clinically proven to improve skin texture without clogging pores. It moisturizes, firms, hydrates and soothes skin in addition to reducing the appearance of fine lines. I received a full size and two minis in this box. I patted this essence into my face after cleansing and toning. The texture is a little sticky as you would expect but it absorbs quickly. My skin does feel hydrated afterwards and I can skip my hyaluronic acid serum when I use this product. It hasn't caused any breakouts or irritation either. My skin feels smoother as well.
