A DUPE of the ANESSA PERFECT UV sunscreen skincare milk! My favourite sunscreen is the ANESSA Perfect UV Sunscreen Skincare Milk! But the price point is the only drawback of this sunscreen. I am beyond excited to discover a dupe of this sunscreen! I bought this SENKA perfect UV milk with no expectations but was so surprised to find that it has the same consistency, texture and finish as the ANESSA Perfect UV Sunscreen Skincare milk, even smells similar on first impression! Most importantly, it is only half the price of the ANESSA one! SENKA and ANESSA are both from the same giant Japanese company Shiseido, and Japanese sunscreens are highly renowned worldwide for the quality and advanced technology! Both of these sunscreens perform the same on my skin, both of them are fast drying, leaves a smooth and silky finish on skin and not greasy at all! It also doesn’t leaves on any white cast! It is also a physical combined with chemical sunscreen, so now you don't have to pick a side! All these points makes them my favourite sunscreens!

I bought this sunscreen last year (buy 1 free 1) from Guardian 😆 I finished the first bottle last year and this second bottle will soon finish as well 🤭 It's my second time using it and as always I love this type of sunscreen as it doesn't make my skin oily throughout the day. It's easily to spread onto my skin and it has mild to almost no white cast on my face. I also like the packaging as it has a small nozzle and easy to disperse out the liquid without being messy or leaking. It's easy to bring anywhere, just throw it into your bag and you're good to go! How to use it appropriately? I squeeze out the sunscreen and make many dots on my face, ears and neck, and gently spread it well all over my skin. You need to apply sunscreen anywhere (even you stay at home) and anytime (especially day time, sunny or rainy) and if possible, reapply it every 2-3 hours because we will sweat a lot and wipe our sweat as well.

This sunscreen comes in a cute tiny bottle that is easy to carry around. The nozzle tip is helpful and it dispenses sunscreen that has a very runny milky texture. The texture is very easy to spread around and it absorbs (or rather, evaporate, since it is the alcohol working) extremely quickly too. The price is very affordable (probably also due to the size) and it is easily available in drugstores.

The texture is creamy yet 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, spreads and absorbs nicely and doesn’t cause pilling. It doesn’t irritate my skin and I can even use it around my eyes, which is great as with most chemical face sunscreens I have to use a separate mineral one for this area. As you can see in the reel, you need to rub it a little bit until it is completely absorbed, so it takes a bit longer to apply than with chemical spf. There is a slight whitecast at first, but once settled, the whitecast goes almost unnoticeable on my fair skin, similar to a mild 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞-𝐮𝐩 effect. The finish is non-sticky, non-greasy and 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥, leaving my skin with a 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 appearance. As it’s very 𝐦𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 on its own I only use a serum and an emulsion/milk before it. 🧴 𝑷𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈. I love the tube packaging as well as the applicator, very comfortable to use. As you can see in the reel, the box has a special sticker with a code so you can check the authenticity of your product, impressive!

I have combination skin (oily T-zone/dry cheeks) and the sun milk has been a blessing to me! ✨ it doesn’t make me as greasy as hydrating sunscreens do and the sheen on my forehead is not as noticeable as usual. I would definitely recommend to give this product a good SHAKE since it is on the liquid side. There is a light floral scent but it isn’t heavy and headache inducing. The product does feel kind of powder-y once it settles onto the skin. ALSO, be sure to rub in this sun milk completely! As you can see in the my video, there is some white tint to it when you first blend it out but once you work it into the skin, it will completely blend into your skin color.
