According to The Inkey List, you can use this product twice a day but I really don’t enjoy using Salicylic Acid products that often. It feels too much for my skin so I always alternate it with a hydrating cleanser. Plus, it can actually damage your skin barrier if used too often. So, I use this product once a day every other day. Based on my experience with other Salicylic Acid products including the gold standard, my breakouts don’t immediately disappear. It feels like I have to use this cleanser several times for me to see visible results. Otherwise, my breakouts just drag for days and end up becoming scars when they eventually disappear. In other words, the product works but it is not instant except you use it twice a day. Otherwise, just give it a few days. It is also worth mentioning that I don’t use this cleanser when I’m not breaking out. I don’t have oily skin so it’s really pointless for me.

The cleanser looks like a translucent gel, and it does not foam at all. That is why I only use it once in the morning. Sometimes, I also wipe my face using micellar water because this cleanser does not seem to give a very deep clean feel. However, it spreads very easily and I massage it well for 2-3 minutes, then wash off with normal water. Thankfully, the cleanser is able to dissolve all the dirt and my skin felt clean and smooth after cleansing. Then I got this cleanser when my skin was damaged and while using this cleanser I noticed that it is not increasing my skin redness like my previous face wash. It is a fragrance-free formula. As claimed, the cleanser is really gentle, non-irritating, and can be used as a morning face wash. Apart from this, it does not make your skin feel dry or stretchy and cleanse skin without stripping the skin’s natural moisture. All in all, Neutrogena extra gentle cleanser gives a fresh, clean looking skin after every wash.

After having used so many other cleansers for a good year or two, I can clearly compare this to other cleansers. Most of them are just too stripping on my skin or burn my eyes and are not for me. So for me The Body Shop Aloe Vera Foaming Face Wash is simply the best face wash I have ever found. It doesn’t dry out my skin and doesn’t aggravate it or cause an allergic reaction. Yet it still takes off makeup and cleanses my skin well enough and that’s exactly what I need this product to do.

This Face Shop Jeju Volcanic Lava Pore Scrub Foam leaves your skin looking bright, feeling cleansed, smooth and soft to the touch. Besides its pearly creamy texture, the scent is also quite refreshing with subtle hints of lemon, herbs and earth. It is also effective in removing whiteheads and deeply cleansing the pores.
