Aqua Boosting Essence Toner ($18): My addiction for @axisy_official products continues 😄 This hydrating essence is a new drop from the brand and another amazing product. This essence is super moisturizing and contains hyaluronic acid that provides deep moisture into the skin. It feels lightweight and soothing with a texture slightly thicker than water. The essence has a very faint scent. I absolutely love the way it smells, as I really like subtle natural scents. It smells very lightly of like a sweet rice smell. It feels really nice too upon applying— the feel of it kind of reminds me of the Rovectin lotion, which is really nice too. As I’ve said before, nothing from Axis-Y disappoints. Essence Toner ($12): I absolutely LOVE this stuff. This product was highly raved about on many skincare threads that I read, and it’s no wonder that people love it so much. It’s called an essence toner, but I use it as the essence step of my skincare routine because of its thicker consistency. It’s much thicker than water, but probably not as thick as a serum. It not only hydrates skin, but after letting it dry it just makes your skin feel amazing. My skin felt instantly smooth, hydrated, clean, and just really healthy after using this for even the first time. This essence toner is definitely making me want to try more products from Pyunkang Yul! Experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Considering that this cream is so rich and intended for dry skin, I was worried that this might be too heavy for me at first. But I was instead completely blown away by how nice this cream was. It has a texture like no other moisturizer I’ve tried before— it’s thick and rich, yet feels light and sinks right in when applying. I’m super picky with the texture of moisturizers, but this one was perfect. Scooping in felt like digging into something between cream cheese and butter. When massaging it into skin, it feels refreshing and nourishing without feeling greasy at all. It also absorbs super easily and quickly. Amazing feel and I can see this working for both dry and oily skin because it’s so nourishing without being too heavy. I did not really detect a scent. Effectiveness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not only is this moisturizer a dream to use, but it really does an excellent job of repairing a damaged skin barrier and moisturizing dry skin. On days I’ve had drier skin, I saw an overnight difference after using this cream. Dry and irritated skin felt nourished and no longer stinging after use. This stuff is like a hug to dry skin. Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I feel like it’s been more difficult for me to be really impressed by skincare products now since I’ve tried so many, but this one absolutely blew me away. Definitely one of my favorite moisturizers I’ve tried. Really just wish it was less expensive, but hopefully I can find it on sale every now and then.

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum ($19): I received this product for free from @go.picky and @skin1004official in exchange for my honest review. This is a chemical sunscreen that provides both sun protection and hydration. Experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Holy grail 🚨!!! This sunscreen doesn’t even feel like a sunscreen. It’s so hydrating and sinks right in like a moisturizer. Not even a hint of white cast! The texture of this is very similar to that of the Round Lab and Beauty of Joseon sunscreens. I didn’t really detect a scent, and this leaves a relatively dewy finish. It’s not overwhelming though and never felt greasy or anything. Effectiveness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I wore this sunscreen everyday on a trip to sunny San Diego and did not experience any sunburn at all, even though I was literally in the sun sitting in the hot tub for hours. I liked it so much that I offered to my friends to use some and told them how great it is. It’s not waterproof, but it does offer excellent sun protection for daily use. Packaging: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I read several reviews of others not being huge fans of the way the pump packaging works, but I personally actually liked it. It wasn’t hard for me to get the right amount of sunscreen as long as I controlled how much I pushed the pump. The design is so beautiful too. SKIN1004 really is at the top of the game in package design. Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am absolutely obsessed with this sunscreen. I’ve tried a lot of Korean sunscreens by now, and I love a lot of them (especially compared to cheap drugstore American brand sunscreens). But I might even go as far to say that this is my favorite one yet. It’s absolutely perfect and I actually can’t think of anything wrong with it.
