If you have dry and flaky skin, sensitive skin, or irritated skin then you need this balm! It’s not hydrating, but it is incredibly moisturizing and nourishing for skin. It’s a thicker balm consistency, just as the name suggests, but not greasy or heavy. It smooths onto skin very nicely and absorbs well. Does not leave any tackiness on the skin. Does not contain any fragrance, really smells like nothing at all. I personally used this balm paired with a ceramide serum to heal irritated and flaky skin I had from a new retinol product and it healed my skin in about 2.5 days. Would also be perfect for the colder, drier months of the year when you’re more likely to experience dry and flaky skin or irritated skin due to wind or cold burn. Also perfect to have on hand for irritated skin due to the use of new products or a reaction, or even just for sensitive skin to keep your skin barrier healthy.
