rating: 3.5 stars out of 5 so, i recently tried the beauty of joseon ginseng moist sun serum spf sunscreen 50+ pa++++, and i gotta say, it has its upsides but also a few things that didn't quite hit the mark for me. i think there is potential here but after boj previous product releases I’m a bit let down let's start with the good stuff. i really appreciate how this sunscreen doesn't leave that annoying white cast on my skin. it's always been a struggle to find one that doesn't make me look like a ghost, so that's a win. and it's not overly scented, which is great because strong fragrances tend to bother me. the formula is also easy to work into my skin, and i didn't experience any stinging in my sensitive eye area. plus, the fact that it's travel-friendly is a nice bonus. i can toss it in my bag without any worries. now, onto the not-so-great parts. the pump mechanism is honestly a bit annoying. it takes quite a few tries to get the right amount of product out, and that can be frustrating, especially when you're in a hurry. also, i have to admit, the serum formula doesn't quite click with me as a sunscreen. i'm still trying to wrap my head around it. it's not my go-to sunscreen, to be honest. the finish is on the glowy side, which might not be everyone's cup of tea. and the scent... well, it's not necessarily bad, but it's not exactly good either. it has a bit of a chemical smell that's just so-so. if i had to choose, i would definitely go for the original probiotic sun relief from the same brand. it just seems to deliver a better overall experience. all in all, the beauty of joseon ginseng moist sun serum spf sunscreen 50+ pa++++ is decent, but it does have its drawbacks. it has some great features, like no white cast and being easy on sensitive skin, but the pump mechanism, serum formula, and scent could use some improvement. it's not a bad option, but it wouldn't be my first choice either. It didn't leave a white cast on my face and absorbed pretty great.

Why I love it: ♥ Love the clean design of BOJ ♥ Small top, which makes it easy to apply on the narrow areas on the face (does this makes sense?) ♥ My first time using Mugwort, which helps soothing the skin (yay!) ♥ Camelia is one of the flowers I still want to grow in my garden, so I was thrilled this sun stick contains Camellia Sinensis Seed Oil and Leaf Extract (no flower extract or scent) ♥ Works great over my make-up! ♥ I like the subtle scent (cannot describe it, super bad in that) ♥ Non-greasy on my combo skin for sure (who likes a oily face…) ♥ Yes to the matte finish! ♥ Suitable for kids too (oh yes bye bye sun stick for mommy) ♥ This is my on the go sun stick which I bring with me on my holidays! (Yes soon!) ♥ Compact size , I can squeeze it in my small handbag

🍀I heard such amazing things about this sunscreen and so caved and bought it and it really does live up to the hype. It blends into the skin almost instantly and there is no oily residue nor white cast. Make-up is also perfect when I apply it over this suncream. 🍀This is the first time I have been able to use sunscreen without having an allergic reaction or a heavy layer of mineral sunscreen on my face. Lovely, light texture with light hydration. I have dry skin so I use it over my regular moisturizer. 🍀I love the smell and texture of this SPF. It's really lightweight and sinks into my skin after the rest of my skincare routine. Doesn't leave a white cast. Would love for this brand to produce a bigger size. 'It goes into my skin so quickly, makes my skin so goodly and leaves my skin feeling and looking amazing! 🍀This sunscreen is so lightweight on the skin. It is thinner than the typical sunscreen but spreads out a long way. Skin doesn't feel tight and glued like some SPFs do. It's light and doesn't have much of a suncream smell. 🍀The way this feels on my skin is so refreshing. Perfect in every sense leaves a healthy glow good coverage smooth this is the sunscreen I have been searching for. So happy with my purchase and I can't wait to order more! Love this!

what I really do love about this sun stick is it really is easy to reapply during the day, it soothes the skin, has a velvety matte finish and doesn't feel oily or greasy at all, while providing an even sun protection
