I feel like it’s so rare to find products with less than ten ingredients, so that’s a huge win right away for me. I also love the fact that it didn’t leave a super oily or greasy film after use, so you don’t have to double cleanse with this oil cleanser, unless you really want to. It does a fantastic job at removing eye makeup (even when I had really dark makeup on and mascara), and didn’t irritate my eyes at all. It also works well at removing SPF. As someone with a sensitive nose, I was also happy with the fact that the scent was very mild. A lot of times I can’t handle strongly scented floral skincare, but this one wasn’t too strong for me. It checked off all the things I want in a cleanser, and this is a new favorite product that easily made its way into my regular routine.

If you’re looking for a face wash that can help cool you down this summer, look no further than this face wash from Laundryou! It’s minty fresh as the name suggest and smells like a mint mouth wash. This Face Gargle features menthol as an ingredient, which is why the cleanser offers a cooling sensation. I found that to be nice and refreshing, and look forward to using it on a hot summer night before bed, or first thing in the morning to help me wake up. Not only did it help with my redness by immediately cooling my skin, but the brush that came with it helped exfoliate away dead skin with over 10,000 bristles. Plus the brush fits into a toothbrush sanitizer, so it’s easy to clean between uses. It is also meant to help with sebum build up in areas like your t-zone (forehead and nose). So it’s great for all skin types, including my overly sensitive skin!

I received this product for free from Picky and HANSKIN in exchange for my honest review. If you’ve seen my channel I’ve talked about how I tend to prefer retinol serums like this one. For some reason my skin tends to handle them even better than creams (maybe it’s because the dose is lower). However I also love the fact that this serum is a cream based option with multiple oils, so it’s nice and hydrating for my dry leaning skin. I chose not to use it on the same day as the retinol cream from this line, and that way my flaky skin was kept at bay. This is a 0.1% pure retinol, meant to be gentle ‘starter’ formula for people who are new to the ingredient. For those who don’t know, retinol not only can help with fine lines and wrinkles, but it can also help with acne. One of the leading causes of acne is dry skin build up (which I definitely get), and retinol helps promote skin cell turn over. I ended up starting retinols in my mid twenties due to my acne, and I definitely see a difference since introducing retinols. Something I noticed immediately with this product is the fact that it features vitamin C as well. Usually, that ingredient is not suggested to be put together with retinol (especially when mixing and matching products in your routine if you have sensitive skin), but I found that the ingredients complimented one another in this formula. This being a unique product with both ingredients means it is a great formula for not only helping with fine lines and wrinkles, but also helping with preventing acne and helping with post acne hyperpigmentation. It is free of silicones, artificial fragrance, and sulfates. What you may smell is not overpowering in my opinion, and I have a sensitive nose. The scent comes from the essential oils in the formula like bergamot and orange peel oil for example. Overall I was really happy with the texture of this, it is a rich creamy formula. As long as I didn’t mix it with acids in my routine (like AHA’s, BHA’s, or PHa’s), and I wore SPF when I went out in the sun, my skin ended up enjoying this formula.

I love the applicator, it’s more hygienic in my opinion to have a pump like this, so you aren’t dipping your finger into a tub and potentially getting bacteria in it to possibly ruin the jar or make it spoil sooner. This product features a unique combination of retinol and vitamin C, making it a fantastic treatment option for people with post acne hyperpigmentation and those with active acne (as retinol can help combat acne). As long as I took the proper precautions for my overly sensitive and dry leaning skin type (not mixing these retinols with AHA’s, BHA’s PHA’s, and wearing SPFs when I went outside, and using the ‘sandwich method’), I got these two products from Hanskin to work for me. I’ve said before that I prefer skin cycling, so using different products with actives on different days to avoid irritation, and for the most part it works. I also only used one of the retinol products at a time, and I managed to avoid flaking with these retinols. I prefer these types of products over trying to mix formulas from different brands because sometimes the products can cause a reaction in your skin, especially if you’re sensitive like I am. I avoid that when the ingredients are in products like this, and they are formulated at levels that are meant to compliment one another. This cream features shea butter and multiple essential oils to help your skin maintain its moisture. It features no added sulfates, artificial fragrances, or silicones. What you do smell is because of the essential oils. I found it to be a light scent that wasn’t irritating.

As always: products like this one need to be re-applied every two hours to properly protect you from the sun’s rays. On to the good stuff! I was so amazed by the texture of this one. I’ve tried other sun serums and essences that are white cast free like this one. But I was still impressed by it. As soon as you apply it, there is no whiteness to blend out. I love how lightweight it was, and even though it is a jelly texture, I didn’t find it to be sticky. Even as a serum, I also found this to be a hydrating enough option that I didn’t need to layer a cream on top of this product. It may be thanks to the hyaluronic acid in the formula. Speaking of ingredients, the obvious one on the front of the packaging is vitamin C. This product features unique vitamin C capsules that break down as you rub it into your skin. It also features niacinamide, and the two ingredients are fantastic at helping with post acne hyperpigmentation. I’ve actually found that keeping Vitamin C in my routine can help prevent acne in the first place, so it’s one of my favorite ingredients to keep in my routine. I really enjoyed how this product left my skin feeling. I deal with dry leaning and overly sensitive skin and I was able to handle this formula. I tend to also have fragrance sensitivities, but the scent was light. Probably because I prefer fruity scented skincare. I would say that this one leans on the lemon/lime citrus scent profile, and didn’t smell like chemicals or cleaning supplies in my opinion. There also wasn’t any stereotypical SPF scent that a lot of us grew up with in the US. So that’s another thing that I appreciated about this sun serum. If you’re looking for a new formula to try out this summer, I highly recommend this one.

If you have never heard of propolis before, the ingredient comes from bees. Just like royal jelly. Because it comes from hives and honey, it has antibacterial properties. Which makes it a fantastic ingredient for helping promote skin healing. Making it ideal for those who suffer from acne. The essence features panthenol and glycerin, so it’s great for people who have dry leaning skin as well. I would say the texture is waterlike, so it absorbs into the skin super easily. I think because of this, this it is good for all skin types (including oily). Even though it was thin, it still managed to hydrate my dry leaning skin, likely thanks to the honey properties in the formula. However, I still have similar products that I would reach for before this one which was why I took a star off from it. This wasn’t a perfect product in my opinion.

I would say the texture is on the lighter side, but still a bit more sticky than I prefer. The scent is also a light floral scent. (This is repeated in the cons section in case people don’t read the entire review and wanted to know those things immediately.) I have to say I was really impressed by how this left my skin looking! I would say this was even better at leaving my skin looking hydrated than just the essence did on its own, but the two worked really well together if you’re really into dewy looking skin. Key ingredients: Propolis: comes from bees and has antibacterial properties like honey which means it promotes healing. It is a great ingredient for both dry skin and for people who deal with acne. Madecassoside: which comes from Centella Asiatica and is great for people who have sensitive/acne prone skin. Glycerin: another moisturizing ingredient to help people with dry skin.

You can wear it one of two ways: 20-40 minutes, or 3-4 hours. I only wore it for 30 minutes for this video, because I know how sensitive my skin is, and I wasn’t sure whether I would have a reaction to this formula or not. So I decided to be cautious. I was still happy with how hydrated it left my skin looking in that shorter amount of time. One of the first things I will notice about a face mask is the scent, and that will often make or break a product for me. Luckily this one wasn’t as strongly scented as some other sheet masks that I’ve tried. Overall, I still give this a four out of five stars. It was a pleasant experience, and I would definitely suggest this to others in the market for a new face mask to try out.

The formula is thicker than some glosses that I’ve tried from other k-beauty brands recently, but it didn’t feel overly sticky. I found that thickness meant this product helped my lips stay hydrated. This is likely thanks to the 10 different oils and manuka honey in the formula. I’m someone who can get dry skin on their lips, and I didn’t feel like this formula made that more noticeable, which is another reason I liked this formula. The scent on this was minimal (it does feature fragrance on the ingredient list). I would say it leans on the sweet fruity side, and it reminded me of berry or grape candy. If you’re into neutrals and desire a glossy look to your lips, this is worth checking out in my opinion. This color of Berry, and Plum were my two favorites because they showed up better, and were slightly more pigmented. You can also apply more than one layer of this for more pigment. I don’t know about you, but I definitely like a product where you can play around with opacity and how it looks on your lips. Definitely recommend this one.

As I said in the video, this is a great starter retinol! I love the fact that this brand offers two different strengths (the 0.1% that I talk about here, or a 0.3% option for people more accustomed to retinols). For me with my overly sensitive skin, it was actually able to handle this low dose cream without flaking. As long as I used other moisturizing products in my routine! The sandwich method I suggested in the video definitely helped. A little bit goes a long way, and I love that the brand suggests only using it once every two days until your skin is used to the ingredient. I also loved the texture of this cream. I always say my favorite textures are not too thin and not too thick. I think that can sometimes be a tough consistency to find in a lot of creams. It didn’t feel heavy or greasy at all. I also didn’t notice a strong fragrance with this one if that can make or break skincare for you.
