I immediately added the serum to my daily routine because it's pure luxury! Really, it a miracle worker! I've been using it for a month now, but right from the very first use, my skin felt soft and tight. After 4 weeks of daily use, my skin looks radiant & healthy. The Isntree Chestnut AHA 8% Clear Essence is an essence helps to unclog pores with 8% AHA. Glycolic acid and lactic acid work together with newly added Gongju Chestnut Shell extract to sweep away dead skin cells, revealing a smoother and brighter complexion. Glycolic acid has the smallest molecular size of any AHA, meaning it can penetrate deeply and quickly, while lactic acid is more gentle and has hydrating properties. Together, they’re the perfect pair. The formula also contains soothing centella asiatica and hydrating hyaluronic acid. The AHA 8% Clear Essence is crueltyfree and vegan. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: The first thing I noticed when applying this essence, is that this Essence doesn't have a noticeable scent. In my opinion, that's a really good thing because it doesn't contain any artificial scents and can't cause any irritations related to artificial ingredients. 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: The Essence is very lightwheighted and has a clear and watery texture which dries very quickly. The Marine Active Serum is a very lightweight, gel based serum, packed with soothing, hydrating and anti-aging ingredients, including Aloë, Ceramides, Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen, Seaweed and Algae Extract, Honey, Green Tea Extract, Pearl Extract, Tomato Extract, Mallow Extract, Tiger Lily Extract, Lotus Extract, Edelweiss Extract, Castor Oil and Deep Sea Water. It promises deep hydration and rich moisturization and provides skin protection. It's suitable for all skin types but should especially cater to dry and very dry skin, because of the highly moisturizing and hydrating ingredients. The Marine Active Serum doesn't contain SLS's, parabens, phalates, aluminium, PEG's, Silicone or Petroleum, is crueltyfree and non comedogenic. It does contain alcohol and fragrance, which can cause dryness and irritations to dry and sensitive skin. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: The blue, nice looking glass bottle comes in a sleek and neat looking carton box which has a blue to white gradient, slightly matching the Marine theme and contains all relevant info regarding ingredients and instructions. While the blue to white gradient does remind me of the ocean, there isn't really a particular marine themed illustration or logo or something visible on the box and the bottle, and I kind of miss that. Personally, I would've liked to see something that clearly says "Marine", like a fish or a boat or something, to emphasize the marine ingredients it contains. Both the carton box as the bottle do have an illustration of a flower though, which is also suitable because of all the different flower extracts it contains. The bottle, made of blue glass, looks really pretty and matches the Marine theme as well. It looks great in the bathroom! It comes with a convenient and hygienic pumping dispenser which is easy to use and even has a little cap to put on top of the pumping system, to avoid pushing the pump when it's not needed. I love those kind of small details! The bottle has a volume of 50ml. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: The Marine Active Serum has a light, soft and delicate marine inspired scent that actually smells really good. I'm usually not really into marine inspired scents, but I like the scent this serum has because it's light, fresh, airy and not overwhelming. The scent doesn't keep lingering for long though. After application, I didn't really noticed it anymore. 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: The Marine Active Serum has a very lightweight, clear but slightly cloudy gel based texture which is easy to spread and sinks right into the skin. It feels slightly sticky while applying, but after it sinks in, the stickyness dissapears quite quickly. You just have to make sure not to use too much because the sticky feeling keeps on for longer if you use too much. It's a very longlasting serum and you don't need much to cover your whole face. While applying the serum, I noticed it makes my skin feel really fresh, which I absolutely love. I really enjoy that fresh feeling. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: After applying, my face feels smooth, hydrated, nourished, soft and supple. That hydrated, soft and nourished feel lasted all day too. My skin looks youthful, radiant, plump and firm while any redness appears to be less visible. My skintone was looking more balanced. It's suitable for all skintypes, even sensitive skin, is fungal acne safe and also has anti-aging and anti redness properties. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: When opening the bottle, I didn't really noticed any scent. It's fragrance and alcohol free and doesn't contain any essential oils, which is good for people with sensitive skin or people who prefer fragrance and alcohol free products for any other reason. Personally, I don't mind fragrances or alcohol in skincare. Fragrances or alcohol aren't really a dealbreaker to me (if the alcohol isn't drying out my skin, obviously) but I do understand why people would prefer fragrance and alcohol free products. Especially because alcohol is proven to dry out the skin. But if you do prefer frangrance and alcohol free products, this one is absolutely perfect for you! The Mixsoon Bean Essence is Mixsoon's best seller and is ranked amongst the 5 best selling products on Amazon. It's available on the Mixsoon website, on Amazon and on certain skincare webshops around the globe. The Mixsoon Bean Essence is a multifunctional product which can be used as an exfoliater and as a serum. It contains only 4 primary ingredients: soybean, barley, pomegranate and pear, all fermented. Using fermented ingredients increases the absorption, spreadability and the adhesion of active ingredients. This product promises to strengthen skin health, to moisturize and hydrate the skin, to revitalize the skin tone and to remove impurities like dead skin cells and excessive sebum. It's suitable for all skintypes but especially caters to dry skin and is gentle enough for daily use. It's also vegan. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: It's supposed to be fragrance free but I have to admit I did notice some kind of scent. I can't really explain what it smells like though. It's like nothing I ever smelled before and it certainly doesn't smell skincare alike.It's more of a natural kinda scent. The scent doesn't linger, it's only noticeable while applying and evaporates rather quickly. 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: The Bean Essence has a really lightweight, serumlike texture. A tad thicker than water, maybe more of an oil. It has a yellowish colour and it's lightwheight texture makes it easy to apply. It feels a bit sticky while and after applying, but doesn't make you feel or look greasy or oily. It absorbs rather quickly, doesn't run all over your face while applying and doesn't feel thight or dry after applying either. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: This Essence comes in a sleek clear container with a pumping system on top and a white sticker with black lettering. It looks clean and minimalistic. The carton box the container comes in, is also white with black lettering and looks equally minimalistic and clean. It contains a list of ingredients and instructions on how to use it, in both English and (I pressume) Korean. The pumping system on top of the bottle contributes to a hygienic application and makes it easy to dose. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: I've used this Essence both as an Exfoliator and as an Serum and I absolutely love it in both ways! When using it as an exfoliater, I add 1 pump to the palm of my hand, take some with the fingers of my other hand and apply it to my face in circular motions. I just keep rubbing it into my skin untill it begins to pill and then I rinse it of with lukewarm water. Afterwards, my skin was feeling silky soft, smooth and even. My skintone was looking even and smooth and the redness on my cheeks was visibly reduced.My pores are less noticeable and appear to look slightly smaller. My face was looking really fresh and healthy, with a healthy looking glow. When using it as a Serum, I add one pump to a cotton round and apply it my to face with the cotton round. I just lightly put it on and let it absorb before adding the rest of my skincare routine. After application, my skin feels properly moisturized and hydrated, silky soft, smooth, plump and firm and looks dewy, without looking greasy or oily. Redness is less visible and my face looks healthy and glowing. Pores and fine lines appear to look less visible too. 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: I absolutely love the Mixsoon Bean Essence! It definitely is worth the cult status it currently has! I honestly can't stop touching my face, it feels so good! 😁 I especially love the fact that it's multifunctional and that it visually reduces redness, pores and fine lines. The Mixsoon Glacier Water Hyaluronic Acid Serum is one of Mixsoon's bestsellers and contains pure glacier water, sourced from Alaska, and three different types of Hyaluronic Acid: high moleculair weight, middle moleculair weight and low moleculair weight, so the serum reaches all layers of your skin. It creates a film over the skin to protect the skin against environmental damages and promises to provide deep hydratation and revitalization by locking in hydration and nutrients. It also promises to retain moisture, to enhance and strengthen the skin barrier, to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and to make the skin appear healthy, radiant, youthful, supple and plump, with a dewy finish. It doesn't feel sticky, greasy or oily at all and it has a very refreshing and cooling feel when applying it. It absorbs quickly without leaving the skin feeling thight or sticky. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: This serum comes in a clear plastic bottle with a print of blue colored glaciers and a cute looking bear. A polar bear maybe? 😉 The bear looks familiar, we've seen it on the Soondy Centella Asiatica Essence too. The bottle features some Korean lines that I couldn't read but I assume it's the product's name, ingredients and instructions. The bottle comes in a white and blue carton box which has the same print as the bottle and it lists the brand's information, the ingredients and instructions on how to use it in both English and Korean. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: Am I overreacting when I declare this Glacier Water to be holy water? No I'm not! 😉 It's so good, this definitely is holy grail material right here! Applying the Glacier Water Hyaluronic Acid Serum feels really refreshing and cooling, especially on a hot day! My skin felt refreshed and calm. My skin also felt smooth, soft, nourished, moisturized, hydrated, supple and firm and looks healthy, toned, plump, radiant and has a natural looking dewy glow. I didn't experience any breakouts or skin irritations when using this serum. It literally only takes a minute to absorb into the skin and it doesn't makes my skin feel dry, tight, itchy or greasy at all. 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: My sensitive combination skin absolutely loves this serum!
