Hydrators or Moisturizers

That is a misconception. It doesnt mean you have oily skin type you dont need any moisturisers. You can both be oily skin but at the same time have dehydrated skin. Its a matter of finding one with a texture that you are comfortable with like emulsions or light gel creams Hydrators are to replenish water Moisturisers are to replenish oil You can use both or one at all. But as you came from humid weather something light or something that wont suffocate your skin is ideal

every skin type needs a moisturiser. I see it this way - moisturiser is what locks in your hydrators. your hydrators won’t do their best job without being locked in with a moisturiser. for oily skin types, I recommend a gel or lotion type moisturiser since they are the most comfortable.

I think when they think of moisturizer they think of heavy creamy petrolatum one which is heavinly for my dry skin. A good gel moisturizer will hydrate your skin by attracting water and that keep it in by using light occulant moisturizing ingredients.

you should still use moisturiser, but a light weight, gel moisturiser would be more suited for your skin type! 😊
