I generally try to avoid most essential oils in skincare as many of them can be irritating. The only ones that I know I'm ok with are tea tree and peppermint. I used to use diluted tea tree oil as a spot treatment but didn't notice significant benefits. I do like skincare products with tea tree though. I also use peppermint oil for my scalp - I sometimes add a drop to my shampoo as it helps soothe itchiness and has a nice cooling effect.
