what is azelaic acid ? is it used as serum or spot treatment ? if we use azelaic acid , did we need aha bha pha more fir sensitive skin? ehat azelaic acid can do ?
It's a dicarboxylic acid derived from rye or barley. So it's neither BHA, PHA or AHA. It's used like a regular acid exfoliator but you can use it on spots as well. Azelaic acid is great for sensitive skin and rosacea, it works on melasma as well. In general, if you have sensitive skin with pigmentation it's a good ingredient for you.
