I do 60 seconds in the morning. I usually do 60 seconds for my double cleanse at night then another 60 for my water based cleanser. it doesn’t dry me out. I think you have to find a balance that works for you. I also make sure my water is lukewarm and not super hot.

I’m on the oilier side, my thumb of rule is at least 30 secs, if I have more time to play with I would just leave my cleanser to 1 minute after rubbing it then rinse with lukewarm water. Finding the good cleanser for your skin is also important.

I wash my face for no more than 60 seconds, so my skin doesn't get dry
