yes, RDL should be prescribed, but it isn't here in the Philippines. That's the reason why it should be used for maximum of 2months only. Then once the acne is already clear, use a regular skincare..
It's very effective cause we all know that Tretinoin and hydroquinone is a gold standard in fighting acne and aging skin..
But! Those two is considered as "drugs" and not your ordinary SkinCare product.
That's why as much as it's effective, the risk of irritation is also higher. If you use it without knowing the right way of using it, and without the guidance of a professional derm, then..
So yes, that RDL babyface have a 50-50 standing here. Some found it as their HG with a very affordable price(1 bottle cost less than a dollar), and some name it as their nemesis.
I, myself, has a very good history with RDL. It cleared the stubborn acnes of mine in Highschool. Just like the instruction, I only used It for 2 months, and that makes my skin really looks like a baby! But because I'm young, not knowing the proper skincare, and the importance of sunscreen, yeah.. those acne got back after a year. So I tried to use it again, but the #2 doesn't help anymore, and I'm too scared to use the #3. Then years got by, and I'm here! Why would I need to use a non- prescribed dangerous products, if I can use an effective not dangerous ones? So yeah! Congratulations to both of us!🥰

yeah I only used it 1-2 bottle in 2 months, but I was using it several times with its soap bar. It helped to cure my pimple back then. But after I entered college and got info about hydroquinone, I didnt want to use it again for my pimple. Its better to take legal drugstore skincare, slowly but progressed.
