So used the Lactic Acid, the vitamin c and Niacinamide from TO and I can tell you Lactic Acid is more gentle and it helps improve with the texture and helps to slwoly fade dark spots. However the Vitamin C was way more powerful than the Lactic Acid so I would recommend you the Vitamin C + Alpha Arbutin than the Lactic acid one. The Niacinamide one made my skin super dry (because I was way to overexfoliating my sjin) and it was way too string for me bc it was my first time trying Niacinamide and a lot of my products contain Niacinamide. So I would look at your products if they contain Niacinamide

i see, i’m planning to buy the ascorbic acid 8% with alpha arbutin, because actually I’ve tried lactic acid 5% before but I don’t see the results. I’m thinking of upgrading to 10% lactic or buy other products ;)

The Ascorbic Acid and alpha arbutin is amazing as it contains two actives that are proven help and work better in combination The alpha arbutin only serum will help. Not that much but will help. The others may help a little bit but alpha arbutin is developed specially to help with hyperpigmentation and therefore really good at it. The one with Ascorbic Acid has an oily feeling and the one without is more of a serum consistency. Choose the one that suits you best

the niacinamide definitely brightened up my skin but the mandelic acid was what had the most effect for me !
