Cystic acne is the most serious type of acne. It develops when cysts form deep underneath your skin. This can result from a combination of bacteria, oil, and dry skin cells that get trapped in your pores. How i treat my cystic acne using korean skincare: 1. Using a salicylic acid cleanser like low ph morning cleanser from cosrx 2. Use a toner a hydrating and soothing toner or a exfoliating toner like one from somebymi ( on days I’m not using retinoid). 3. I use retinoids or niacinamide at night since they are the only ones which actually help with stubborn cystic acne . 4 . Put a ceramide cream at night to keep my Skin moisturised enough and doesn’t flake because of tretinion. Special products for that spot acne treatment like patches or cream which actually work.
