I would go for both, meaning having a hydrating soothing routine and add a specific treatment product that targeted pimple.

don't worry . use tea tree iunic serum and cica relief cream then just apply spot treatment on pimple and apply pimple patch when spot treatment gets dry 🙌 thus routine will work for both redness abd pimple

Both. 🙂 Most of the spot treatments are drying, so it's important to moisturize the skin. I suggest getting a spot treatment for acne, calming toner or serum and a lightweight moisturiser. 🙂
