I think cleansing cloths containing some oil could be really effective with just a rinse after. But without an oil to break down dirt, sebum, and sunscreen/makeup I think cleansing cloths just smear things around.

I think it doesn’t really clean properly and I would suggest to do double cleansing with an oil cleanser or a balm first then your facial cleanser. It’s better than using a cloth because depending on how you do it, there could be tugging on the skin and could create pre-mature wrinkles. Here’s a few oil cleanser I’ve used and love:

Well, yes even with oily skin, i use oil cleansers, it feels weird at first because I’m adding more oil on to my oily face but it helps with removing makeup, sunscreens even waterproof mascare. Followed by your cleanser and it feels cleaner than any other methods i used.

I honestly think it’s just personal preference. I don’t use any because I think they irritate my skin and don’t clean as well as I’d like.
but I know some people that swear by it

From my experience, yupp cleansing cloth not suitable for my face. It’s make my face feels dry and somehow uncomfortable too. I prefer use micellar water🤍
