With anyone wanting to start or better their haircare journey, I always recommend finding the porosity of your hair and finding what hair type you do have, whether it be straight wavy or curly. From there, it’s easier to search what ingredients and hair care items would be best for you.
As for the dandruff, a lot of people in the hair care community have something to say about it, but head and shoulder is a good place to start. It really does help with dandruff and having a itchy scalp, but also keep in mind that it won’t add any hydration benefits to the hair.

@SumanBhatti it would depend on if the hair is thick or fine as well. For thicker hair, SheaMoisture has a high porosity line that is very beneficial. Finer hair would need products that wouldn’t weigh it down. I have finer hair and one of my favorites is the &honey deep moist hair line.
