this is the thing with the FDA, and the reason why western sunscreens often pail in comparison to Asian ones. The regulations are so strict that newer better sunscreen filters cannot get approved and take ages to hit yhe market in the us

When was the FDA ever great for the US 😩 I work in a field affiliated with it and they’re just so weird sometimes. 🫠 They said to approve those filters they need another almost another decade of research at minimum 🤦♀️
