I bought this serum bc it says it "targets the appearance of hyperpigmentation and dark spots, helping to brighten the skin and improve overall skin tone" This is considered a treatment in their line. It contains 2% Alpha Arbutin and .5% squalane. So not only is it a treatment it's Moisturizing as well.. Its a nice creamy consistency. I think this is a great product for a great price.
