Dermask Clearing Solution Ultra-Fine Microfiber Sheet Mask
First Impression: Very thin sheet mask with a plastic (netted?) backing. When I took it out from the packaging, the essence was dripping off the mask (not sure if that’s a good or bad thing because it means you’re getting a lot of product (essence) but my floor and dressing table did not appreciate it)
Scent: Faint scent which I believe is due to the presence of tea tree in the essence
Application: Fits quite well to my face shape and it adheres very well on my skin too. It started to dry out around 15 minutes after application.
Thoughts on the product:
1. Overall effect: I did not see much difference on my skin after application.
2. Effect on acne: It didn’t irritate or worsen my acnes but there did not seem to be any positive effect as well. I had a few pimples appearing on my face the night after I applied the mask but I don’t think it is due to the mask, the pimple had already formed (under my skin) before I applied the mask.
3. Effect on acne scars/ hyperpigmentation: My pimples still left a scar although I had on this mask every alternate days (from the day my pimple formed till the day it popped).
4. Price: It’s not the most budget friendly mask out there and I personally feel that it’s quite expensive, especially since there was little to no effect on my skin.
Would I get it again? Not really.
