Jackbrat review for Red Energy Recovery Serum

I received this serum sample in my May Ipsy Glam Bag. I knew about the Mamonde brand since they are part of the Amore Pacific portfolio but have not had the chance to try any of their products. So I was pretty excited to get this in my bag. This product’s most unique ingredient is the Blossoming Energy which according to them, harnesses the power of flowers to improve skin. Skin benefits include hydration, a boost in the skin’s barrier function, improved firmness and clarity. It also has antioxidants which help to ward off free radical damage and hyperpigmentation. Notable ingredients include: niacinamide, tranexamic acid, sodium hyaluronate, pomegranate extract, rosehip extract and acetic acid. This serum goes on silky smooth and layers well with other products with no piling. It has a light scent but it is not off putting. I can’t really evaluate the brand’s claims since my sample was only 5 ml but I didn’t experience any irritation or sensitivity after using it. The price for a 30 ml bottle starts at $40 USD.
