Acts as a sponge helping the skin to hold onto water, being plump and elastic. MY EXPERIENCE : It moisturize my skin well. Not well. But well enough for my skin to stay hydrated. I consider it to be a light moisturizer to me. It also works like magic on my pimples or acne. I put them on my pimples before sleep for almost a few days, then it heals !! The pimple scar might be hard to be faded though (might need further treatment for those). Works perfectly on sunburned skin too ! It has green tea in it to relax your heated skin. Refrigerate it 10 min before use for that extra cooling effect ! Believe me I've tried !!!! Holy-moly. Free of alcohol, parabens and ethanol. But !! Not free of fragrance though. Sensitive skin might need to pass this up. But, for me personally , the fragrance is really not strong. LIKE SERIOUSLY I would totally repurchase this again cause I'm lovin it.
