I do not have excessively dry lips so it works pretty well for me. On the lips it is hydrating and it doesn't feel too oily or sticky. I bought this for around three or four dollars so it was a very good value in comparison to the other lip balms available at that time. You can also use this for chapped patches on the body however I have not tried but it does have vitamin E and coconut butter.
