This mask comes in two steps; the peeling pad and the sheet mask – the former emphasizes ingredients like Calamine, Ginger Root Extract & Green Tea Leaf Extract while the latter has Sodium Hyaluronate, Honey Extract & Panthenol among others. The peeling pad has two sides – smooth & embossed – with a mild herbal scent while the mask has pretty thin, almost like a cloth sheet with a mild floral scent. The pad does not do anything much other than prepping skin for the masking session. No tingling or stinging whatsoever. However, the focus is not on the pad but the mask. The mask has a very nice fitting on my face and it has this instant cooling sensation that I have always love from a sheet mask. The hydration that it delivers is pretty intense considering how abundant the gel essence that this mask provided. The essence can take some time to be absorbed the finishing is quite tacky. However, I love how it makes my skin feel bouncier and smoother. Shinier too, I would say. I also noticed how over time, this mask will intensely ‘hug’ your skin and makes me comfortable with it. It is also a bit too moisturizing that sometimes I skip my moisturizer whenever I used this. A nice experience! Overall, this mask has a pretty interesting mechanism with the peeling pad and the amount of essence. I really find myself loving the experience and aftermath of using this mask. I think if you are looking for a good hydrating mask and have no problems with fragrant components, this is the one for you!
