👄 I was SO excited when cosrx released their newest lip products and I purchased all four without thinking. I had the highest hopes for this one… but I was really let down. I’m not sure if I had a bad batch but I just cannot get past the taste of this lip scrub. 👄 Packaging: Everything is super clean and cute. While I love the look of the small pot, I imagine it would get more and more difficult to scoop this out as you use more and more. It doesn’t come filled to the top. It did come with a little scooper which is nice (not pictured). 👄 Ingredients: Not too long a list. Honey, Shea butter and candelilla wax to help moisturize, lemon extract and sugar crystals for soothing and exfoliating, and cocoa extract for color. No added scent or flavor. 👄 Texture and Scent/Flavor: This is VERY fine. Hardly grainy at all. I personally found the exfoliation to be too gentle for me. It didn’t buff away any dry flakes. It smells slightly like plastic. I made the mistake of getting this on my tongue and that was a HUGE mistake. It tastes absolutely awful, like pungent plastic. I washed this off immediately and really haven’t grabbed it again. 👄 Experience: Cosrx, I love you. I really do. But man I hope I just got a bad batch of this. This left my lips slightly softened, and the packaging is aesthetically pleasing, but that’s about all good I can say about this. The taste is awful and I’m scared to get this in my mouth again. The exfoliation is too gentle for my dry flakes. I appreciate how they tried to make this sensitive skin friendly but I prefer a little bit of scent/flavor to a lip product over no added scent/flavor but with a horrible plastic aftertaste and smell. I just can’t get excited about using this again, but perhaps I’ll try and be very careful about not getting it in my mouth.
