Instead, the physical filters in mineral sunscreens sit on the surface of the skin and act as a screen that deflects UV radiation. ☀️ Mineral sunscreen starts protecting your skin immediately after application. No need to wait 20-30 minutes like chemical sunscreens. Mineral sunscreens, on the other hand, protect the skin by physically screening the sun’s rays, which means they’re effective as soon as they’re applied. Overall I loved this sunscreen. I wasn’t sure how I would feel since it was tinted but it’s incredibly lightweight and silky, and dries to a soft, blurred finish. Since I do not wear a lot of foundation in the summer this gives me just a hint of color that screams summer. It doesn't settle in fine lines or pores and the tint just adds a healthy glow. The SPF 45 is perfect for living in sun city and for my outdoor active lifestyle.
