Who doesn't know the Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution? 🤔
Because of the massive hype it gets on social media, I'm dedicating my first review to the Ordinary's bestselling product. ✨
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘯𝘶𝘵𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭:
PROS
👍It's very affordable and brings chemical peeling to the comfort of your home.
👍Shows results from first use.
👍Does what it says.
👍Brightens, evens out skin texture, makes your skin as smooth as baby's bottom.
👍Faded away some of my post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
👍Helped my teenage brother with acne and can potentially help those with acne scars.
CONS
👎You 𝙃𝘼𝙑𝙀 to follow the instructions since it's so easy to misuse.
👎It was too strong for me in the summertime since my skin is usually more sensitive then. So be extra careful and do a patch test if you have sensitive skin.
👎A friend of mine who used it 2x a week instead of 1x as I told her had a breakout. This product is a perfect example of less is more. Otherwise, you risk making your skin way worse than it was before.
👎There is a fragrance to it which I wasn’t a fan of.
👎Due to the product being overly hyped up on social media, I see a bunch of people use this wrong. ''bUt oN cLIp cLoP tHEy dID iT lIkE tHiS''. No. Follow the instructions on the box, not some random video online.
So overall, when used correctly the product can be amazing and show fantastic results, however due to it being so strong and so easily misused I have mixed feelings about it. I have stopped recommending this to inexperienced users, but if you know your way around chemical exfoliants and don't have sensitive skin - absolutely try it out. I also recommend putting on some calming cream/mask after it to soothe your skin. 🌸
