I did read that this is a gel mask, and I was expecting a sheet mask covered with thick gel—like the aloe vera gel, but it wasn’t. I’m not sure how to describe that but the solution feels like a transparent light cream but still a bit runny. It doesn’t fall off from the packaging if you flip it upside down, thus there’s no mess applying this mask onto your skin, but it was easy for my skin to absorb the solution without greasy or thick feeling afterwards. I’m pretty sure, no fragrance nor essential oil was added to the product, since it smells like water but with a slight leafy smell. It came in a transparent packaging – which I actually adore but slightly worried too because it would make the product exposed to sunlight but it’s okay, I don’t put it under sunlight anyway. The material of the mask was a biodegradable bio cellulose sheet, it was soft and thin, and absorb a lot of essence in it. It holds the essence really well, I used it on air-conditioned room for 20 minutes, and it wasn’t dried out by the time I took it off. It gave decent hydration and left my skin soft and moist after using. Though I think it would be too much to use this mask everyday (the price was on the expensive side and the solution was thick it would be too much to be used every day), I do think this mask would be a nice product to be used after a long-hot-day when you need pampering and cool your skin. I also think it would be a nice mask to prep your skin the night before your big day, but might be too much if you use it right before you apply your make up.
