Somethinc - pocelyn review for 5% Niacinamide Barrier Serum

𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 • a frosted glass dropper packaging. • comes in 2 sizes: 20 and 40ml. 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 • mild floral scent from the damask rose water which makes up for 48% of the serum 😳 • personally not a fan of rose-scented products but it’s tolerable. 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐫 / 𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 • milky colour and watery-gel texture. • absorb rapidly without any tacky finish. • no pilling observed. 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 • contains ceramides which is always a plus! • helped to brighten dark spots after pimples and overall complexion. • ticks all the boxes for a basic niacinamide serum. • i don’t usually turn to niacinamide for barrier repair because of the stinging. • i prefer the 5% serum as i find lower percentages of niacinamide to work better for me. 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 • it's vegan and fungal acne safe! • overall, i really like somethinc as a brand. they have affordable products that cater to wide variety of skin types and concerns. it’s a great brand for beginners and students. however, i find that none of the products ive tried are particularly memorable nor provide a drastic improvement for my skin.
