Out of the bottle it has a watery consistency. When applied it felt like a giant splash of water! It was hydrating & immediately soothing. I was suffering from a small breakout and my skin was super irritated and this immediately calmed my skin down. It's also the only product that actually calms redness for me. It's easy to layer and I loved how despite the light consistency it still had some body to it. It leaves my skin feeling smooth, soothed, and lightly hydrated. I also love that they let their star ingredient speak for itself in this essence. They don't add fragrance or other ingredients that can cause irritation or problems for certain skin types, so I really enjoyed being able to appreciate ginseng in its most natural form. It seems my skin loves ginseng & it definitely loves this essence! 😍 This will for sure be one I keep in my routine! It is pricey for sure but you are getting REAL high quality red ginseng products that are aged for 6 years to maximize antioxidant properties. It's definitely in my opinion worth it. Donginbi often has sales so you can grab the travel size or the smaller bottle to try out before splurging.
