skincarewithnhi review for Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner

Gonna have to start off by saying how Felicia from BeautyWithin recommended this toner in her videos and after so much hype, I finally caved in! But let me reassure you, the hype was definitely worth it and I’m so in LOVE with this toner!! The main ingredients are fermented black rice extract and hyaluronic acid so it’s very hydrating, leaving my skin feeling plump and soft. I’ve used it for the past 2 months and my skin feels so much nicer. It has a watery consistency yet the texture is viscous so it glides across the skin easily. It did feel a little tacky at first but this disappears once the toner settles into the skin. It’s rapid absorption, that’s for sure. I usually only put on 1-2 layers, but on days my skin is calling out to me for some extra hydration… 2-3 layers is fine too!! Apparently there’s a slightly strong lavender scent to it (as it contains lavender oil), but I didn’t notice it that much. If anything… the scent is actually aromatic for me. The toner does contain alcohol and essential oil but it didn’t irritate my skin, which is a big pro!! Overall, I highly recommend this product if you’re looking for a super hydrating, nourishing toner and don’t mind the slight lavender scent that comes with it. I thought it was just a herbal scent at first. PAO is 6 months though which makes me sad because I bought the 300ml bottle and it’s massive… I’m not even half way through yet. Would definitely repurchase in the future though!! Side note, I’m in awe with the packaging. The box is printed using soy ink and the bottle has a frosted matte plastic finish. The way the lid screws on is oddly satisfying.
