I knew what to expect from this product going in -- slightly plump and tingling lips and that's exactly what it gave me. I applied just a thin layer since I was already familiar with lip plumping products and within seconds, the warm, tingling feeling on the lips started. I kept it on just for 30 minutes then later applied it again and kept it on the entire afternoon. The warm, minty feeling lasted for about 30 minutes I think. I didn't really time it. What I like about it is how soft my lips were! It has a slightly thick, stringy, jam-like texture in the jar but when you apply it, it's actually lighter but not as slippery like lip pertroleum jelly.
