It removes waterproof make up and sunscreen. It's gentle and leaves my face baby soft afterwards! I love the texture it feels really good massaging it on my skin and my hands are gliding over there. However sometimes it's a bit more difficult to remove it around the eye area& it leaves an oil layer behind, but it goes away if you rinse it thoroughly with warm water or use your second cleanser. It didnt irritate my eye or my skin in any way but you feel that the oil hasn;t emulsify that good on your lashes. [Edit] After reading the instructions and doing after the instructions: Rinse it 2 -3 times with lukewarm water it goes away easily!
