If you are a dry skin type that wears minimal makeup and likes the feel of scrubs but are scared they might be too abrasive, this might be the cleanser for you. This is a highly moisturizing cream cleanser with granules made by Japanese root crop konnyaku (highly soluble and not as rough as pulverized walnut shell or pumice), which makes it perfect for gentle exfoliation. It can help with dry patches and dullness without stripping the skin. The texture comes out like a thick cream and feels like a balm. It takes some massaging in to remove heavy makeup which is why I would recommend this cleanser to minimal makeup wearers. I liked using this product on the driest parts of my body like my hands, arms, and legs. Contains phytic acid, an AHA that helps boost elasticity and even skin tone as well as willow bark extract, which is a source of salicylic acid (BHA) to deeply penetrate pores and dissolve congesting debris.
