Dermalogy Canadian Clay Pore Cleanser
Talk about facial cleanser [part2]
Neogen Canadian Clay Pore Cleanser
Claims: This combination of carbonated water, kaolin clay, and Centella Asiatica extract instantly eliminates excess sebum, blackheads, makeup, and dead skin cells on the surface of the skin and inside pores. This innovative clay pore cleanser transforms into a rising foam, leaving the skin with a tingly clean and refreshed.
It comes in a white plastic tube and is covered by a piece of thin cotton pad placed on top of the product to help prevent its oxidation.
Having an obvious mint-green and gray color, the clay mask has a light chemical herbal scent (😅again, which can be immediately figured out). The product itself is a thick and muddy paste that is really creamy, soft, smooth due to how easy it is spread on the face.
After the first few times using it, I clearly saw the immediate bubbling-effect when it came in contact with the air. However, after 2 weeks, this effect no longer occurred despite my carefully following the brand's introduction of maintenance.
When dried on my face, it served as a general clay mask. Then I rinsed it off, surprisingly, it lathers up and certainly help me remove it without difficulty as any other clay masks.
Despite the instant brightness improvement, this clay mask left my skin a dried sensation when washing off. The feeling is the same as using a hand soap in my face. As far as I’m concerned, I don't believe in any cleansing product which is gimmickily claimed to remove all impurities, makeup or etc. Thus, this babe is not an exception.
It did not help to lessen my redness or acne but it also did not worsen the case. One thing I really love about using it is a brush going along with it. It has a really smooth and shiny brush feather. On the final note, I would say that this product can do a favor for people who don't have much time doing skincare like facial cleansing and enjoying masks at the same time.
Hope you enjoy my post🥰
