Retinol Cream for Wrinkle Care
The Bellflower Retinol C Cream for Wrinkle Care is an anti-aging cream using Retinol, Adenosine and Niacinamide as actives. It contains:
*Retinol 960ppm or 0.096%
*Humectants and moisturizers like Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Macadamia or rapeseed oil and cholesterol
*Allantoin and Japanese Goldthread extract to soothe
*Adenosine and Niacinamide to brighten, repair and support skin barrier
*It contains alcohol but its free from parabens, Phenoxyethanol and gluten
The cream has a light texture and spreads quite fast but it definitely has an oily consistency and feel
I've been reading reviews and many like this cream so I guess it's a fine option for those just starting with Retinol. I haven't experience any improvement in my fine lines by using this. Why? Because I have been using prescription Retinoid for about 2 years
On the contrary, I experienced irritation and sensitivity. Maybe too much retinol on top of my Tretinoin? Maybe the Niacinamide that has been annoying my skin lately and brands sneak everywhere (with Kbeauty been particularly guilty of it)?
I've been therefore using on my hands and this way the cream works OK. It still prickles a little, though. Hands are one of the first places to show signs of aging and I will recommend you showing them some love, even more in the Winter time
Outcome: itchy and irritated hands
