Gradually over that time frame, I developed the worst acne of my entire life. It came on so slowly that I never suspected this product. I'm on a medication with a side effect of controlling acne so my worst breakout is one lone spot here or there, but suddenly my face was covered in clusters of huge cystic angry spots for MONTHS. After trying all my usual acne treatments with zero success, I caved and went to my family doctor and when I asked what he thought caused it he said something that caught my attention: "There's a number of things that can just change the pH of your skin a little bit and cause these breakouts". Ahh, pH sounds familiar. He gave me a prescription cream but before trying that, I decided to stop using the pHenomenal moisturizer as a test, and sure enough the spots stopped showing up within a week. So, to Pixi's credit I guess the "pH" thing isn't just a gimmick -- it does genuinely seem to alter your skin's pH. Just for the worst, in my case. Such a shame because the product made my skin feel amazing to the touch.
