OG Review 10/17/21: I saw subtle skin tone evening and hyperpigmentation fading over the course of the last month of use, which makes sense — this isn't going to act like an exfoliant or retinol — and I imagine results will only continue to improve with (as aforementioned) extended use. It's not going to be irritating for people with sensitive skin. It contains 77% Kumquat extract.
EDIT 01/10/22: I have noticed nontrivial amounts of lightening acne marks.
This might become a four star product with extended use.
This is not the product for you if your main concern is hyperpigmentation, dark spots, or uneven skin tone. The effects of this are very subtle and gradual and gentle, and not the typical "start small so you can work your way up to higher percentages of L-Ascorbic Acid" aggressive approach that most PIH-driven skincare routine suggestions take. Granted, that also means this might be a good option for those with sensitive skin or sensitive to LAA.
