๐ this cream is a perfect example of great ingredients, horrible formula. the texture is gel-like, but somehow feels goopy and doesn't spread well. using it the recommended way, it immediately suffocated my face, left it disgustingly sticky and gave me an urge to wash it off. the only way I could sort of use it is taking the tiniest bit and spreading it between my palms first, then patting it lightly on my face. but if I already use a better, more emollient cream for my dryness, putting this on top just doesn't seem to be worth the hassle. sets to a natural finish with no dew, and I can just feel it on my skin, like there's a weird residue. needless to say, this doesn't work for me under makeup either
๐ฆ pretty sure that using it directly after an ampoule the first time broke me out in multiple under-the-skin bumps on my cheeks, nose and jawline
๐ช๏ธ despite claiming to be a calming product, my skin felt sensitized in the morning, especially in places where the skin is thinner. not sure if this is due to the high concentration of KaKadu Plum Extract
๐งI knew that the Argan Oil & Squalane wouldn't be occlusive enough for my dry skin, but all the humectants it contacts, including HA & Glycerin, didn't seem to provide any moisture either, and, on the contrary, the product seemed to make my skin tight and wrinkly, as if there was a strange film on top of it (especially in the forehead/brow area)
๐งด this is the least of my worries, but the plastic 50ml jar feels light and cheap. comes with no spatula
