This is a vegan & cruelty free plant-based lip treatment balm that deeply hydrates & softens dry, chapped lips. Comes with a spatula. Retails for $19 on Amazon Texture: semi-solid oil balm, pink in color, but goes on clear Smells of spearmint. My Experience: I was excited to try this lip balm, as my lips get really dry in the wintertime. It is a multi use product, as it can be used as a lip balm during the day, or overnight as a lip mask treatment. I used it both in the AM/PM. The texture is quite buttery and applies smoothly without any stickiness. The spearmint scent does go away as you apply it. I use the spatula to scoop out the balm and apply it to my lips during the day, it provides a clear, glossy finish to the lips – very moisturizing and lips feel so soft. I also tried it at night before bed, and lips feel soft, and smooth the next day. I really like this balm, as it is really does make dry, chapped lips feel velvety smooth! Although it is labeled as “super plumping”, there is no stinging, and I didn’t experience any plumping effect, which was okay for me since I was more interested in the moisturizing aspect. The packaging is small enough to carry around in your purse, and you only need to use a small amount to soften the lips, so it should last a long time. I like how there is a spatula to keep it sanitary. I think this lip mask would be great for anyone – I would repurchase.
