KimTrue is a brand that prides themselves as being “dedicated to the detailed needs” of their customers. The meaning: KIM= brilliance TRUE= real, accurate They are located in Los Angeles, California. They were so very generous to gift me a few of their products. The one I’ll talk about today is their Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm. I’m a sucker for a good cleansing balm, and this one did not disappoint 😉 Key ingredients: Morninga Seed Extract Vaccinium Myrtillus Seed Oil Panthenol Centella Asiatica root extract Packed with plant based ingredients The packaging is simple and beautiful. The texture is very buttery. It melts immediately upon contact with the skin. No need for scrubbing and tugging as it turns to oil very quickly. That’s my favorite part about this balm!! It removes makeup well, doesn’t irritate my eyes, and rinses away clean. Face feels clean and smooth. There’s no greasy residue left behind. It also doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped whatsoever. I personally do not notice a fragrance with this balm. So if it’s there, it’s very minimal. The brand has recently released another cleansing balm called the Purifying Cleansing Balm which is said to be the texture of ice cream 🍨 .. and if it’s as good as this one, I definitely want to try it too!
