They have an extremely strong alcohol smell that made my eyes instantly tear up. I rubbed the soaked, prepackaged wipe on my dry, clean skin. After letting most of it soak into skin (about 5 mins) I massaged the remaining liquid in. I left it on the recommended overnight and washed off. During use, I experienced no skin redness or other irritation. After 1 use my face did appear brighter and more even toned. All NeoStrata products are crueltyfree.
