🤍 Sponsored? No 🤍 Texture: Thick gel-like consistency with a yellow tint. Spreads well, has a slight cooling effect but it does take a while for it to absorb. Tacky & sticky finish. 🤍 Fragrance: None but it does give off a scent. Here I go trying to describe something I'm not 100% sure on 😂 To me,it has a faint smell of raisins that had been soaked in alcohol for a while or dried prunes. Please don't quote me on this 🙈 🤍 Main Hero Ingredients & Claims: ▪︎ 10% PHA or Lactobionic Acid: gentle exfoliation, hydration & improve skin texture. ▪︎ Arginine: hydration & lessen any irritation from exfoliation. ▪︎ Vitamin A (Retinyl Palmitate): anti-aging ▪︎ Vitamin C (oil soluble version): anti-aging & brightening ▪︎ Vitamin E: antioxidant 🤍 On my very dry & sensitive skin: I remember receiving a sample of their glycolic serum & putting it away because I knew my skin was not ready for active ingredients. But I did take an interest in the brand because it sounded intriguing. ▪︎As I browsed through their products, I came to learn of Lactobionic Acid (hence the "Bionic" name for the serum & not what I was thinking,"Bionic Woman"...I know, I'm weird 😅) or as most would know it as PHA. ▪︎After I bought it,I was still afraid to use it because it had a form of retinol (a very gentle one),Vit C & PHA. But my stupid self likes to live life on edge 😎 Yes, & guess what? My face went pink on the first night but no itching or stinging. I survived & woke up with really well hydrated skin. ▪︎I don't use it consistently (only when I feel the build up of dead skin cells) & so I can't comment on the anti-aging or brightening claims. But the textures near my nose have definitely improved vastly as a few of the larger pores have become so small that they're almost unnoticeable. I was impressed & pleasantly surprised at the same time. ▪︎Would I repurchase? Yes,but not for a while as I still have a good amount left. Great winter serum with a tacky finish that I love.
