Didn’t notice any brightening benefits - if you are looking for a vitamin c product, you should look into creams or serums, but this is definitely not it. Also, it can be drying and a little stripping - my skin sometimes felt tight and squeaky clean after using this cleanser. I don’t really like the smell or the consistency - it’s a thick gel that turns into a lot of foam. While i don’t mind foaming cleansers, i prefer them not to foam up too much and that does exactly that. I mix it with my drugstore gentle cleanser so the consistency is nicer and so that it would be less drying ☺️
