jattali17 review for Calming Moisture Barrier Cream

Among all of the Calming line, this cream is baby GaGa favourite. It claims to soothes the skin, stregthen skin barrier and provide rich moisture deep into the skin. As further looks into the ingredients for this line, it seems that Cica,HA & Japanese Honeysuckle Flower Extract would be their signature brand ingredients. Very basic but it does the job. Other additional ingredients it has is Olive Fruit Oil (nourishing), Tocopherol (antioxidant), Ceramide NP (strengthen skin barrier), Shea Butter & Squalene (moisturizing). This cream is quite thick but to me it has that little 'body' in it. I only used it during night time. It takes a little of time to absorp but once it did, the finishing is semi matte and I can feel that the hydration sink in onto my skin. Upon application, I can feel a little bit of cooling sensation but only for awhile. It is unlike other rich cream I've tried before. This one was easier to blend onto my face. Usually richer cream will takes time to blend, its like blending your SPF. I understand that this cream would not be too friendly with oily skin but my skin loves it since I also have dehydrated skin. It gives that instant smoothness once it dries down. However for precautions, I would not apply in the daytime as the weather currently is so humid in Penang. Packaging is very simple. Comes in a jar. This would be long lasting for me despite with only 50ml. Seeing this entire line as wholesome, I would say that it is suitable for those with dry sensitive skin. The cleanser and toner, I believe it able to cater those with oily sensitive skin.
