Calm Down 4% PHA + BHA is a liquid toner that not only gently exfoliates, but also soothes and hydrates the skin. Calm Down is designed for all skin types, and with its 3.2% PHA and 0.8% BHA it's suitable for sensitive skin or for beginners in chemical exfoliation as well. Key ingredients: 💧PHA acids are for remove the dead skin cells from the surface of the skin, but without the potential irritation of AHAs while moisturizing and giving an antioxidant protection to the skin. 💧BHA (salicylic acid) is a gentle exfoliant with anti-inflammatory properties. 💦 Furthermore, it has Phragmites Kharka + Poria Cocos Extract, Nopal Cactus + Yeast Extract and Panthenol for more potent hidration and skin-protecting effect. In addition, it's 💙 Cruelty-free 💙 Fragrance & Essential oil free 💙 Gluten-free 💙 Pregnancy-safe 📌 As for its texture it's an unscented water-like, weightless liquid. As it doesn't contains anything that could make the skin more sensitive to the sun, it can be used in the AM routine as well, and it's also a good option for those who are looking for a gentle exfoliant for the summer. (with using an SPF every morning of course). 📌 As for me, I use it as the first step after cleansing on dry skin, following it up with serums and moisturizer. Due to it's runny, watery texture it spreads and absorbs easily to the skin, and I didn't noticed any pilling at layering on it. I never had neither any irritation, nor any signs of overexfoliation caused by it. It's obviously doesn't make an instant noticeable impact but using it regularly I observed a distinct improvment of the overall skin condotion. 💠 All in all, it's an affordable and gentle exfoliant, recomended mostly for sensitive skin and as first exfoliant product for beginners.
