NEOGEN - Skincaria review for Dermalogy A-Clear Soothing Pink Eraser

🔹 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺𝘀 With salicylic acid and calamine powder, this intensively soothing and skin purifying solution helps to gently exfoliate, regulate sebum and calm sensitive skin. 🔹 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 + Lasts long + Does heal pimples slightly - Not travel friendly - Requires a lot of cotton buds - Drying, probably because of the denatured alcohol - Very difficult to wash off 🔹 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 - 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 - 𝗦𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 This product has 2 layers, a transparent liquid with ingredients such as salicylic acid and tea tree oil on top of a pink calamine powder. Which you don't see in my picture by the way, because I've used this quite a while. The instruction said not to shake it before using but my bottle came all shook up from shipping. I'm glad that the solution seperated again after a while but because of this I had to wait before using it. Does come in a nice glass container and had a slight tea tree like smell. 🔹 𝗠𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 I think this is comparable with a pimple patch. Put this on pimples that show a white spot and the next morning, the pimple will be healed considerably but not completely. Just like a pimple patch, you should not expect an overnight wonder. Although the bottle is small, this lasted me a really long time. However, unlike a pimple patch, it has some considerable downsides. First of all, keep in mind this is not a travel friendly product. Just like when I first got it, the solution is mixed up after travelling so you have to wait until it settles down to use it. Secondly, you have to use cotton buds to apply this, so I did go through a bunch a cotton buds which I'm not a fan of. As I said, this product does work but I feel like it dries out my pimple and the skin around it to make it work. The drying is probably caused by the denatured alcohol that is second on the ingredients list, which can be drying and sensitizing for the skin and disturbe your skin barrier. Lastly, this is really difficult to wash off in the morning, even with a cleanser. All in all, I think this product is more trouble than its worth.
