Thoughts: A-not-so-new family member from Kayman. I don’t really prefer cleansing balm after I’ve been hooked up with my favourite cleansing oil from Hada Labo. It works great and I don’t have any issue. I’ve tried using a few cleansing balm before but non of those can make me repurchase. However, when I first started using this cleansing balm - I noticed that it don’t melt easily upon contact with my skin. It remains the texture, until you start to massage in. It don’t emulsify easily too. This is important okay - if it is easily melt, it’s a bit hard for travel purpose. Cause it will spill the product. And if it emulsify easily even with a damp-to-dry hand, you have a little bit of window time to melt the sebum and makeup on your skin. Want to use it to massage with gua sha? Forget it. I love the packaging too. It’s a flip cap. At first I thought that it’s a bit unusual but after using it for quite some time, it’s very convenient. It can minimise the time and contact taken to take the product. I love this well thought process. You know that I use OTMS like a crazy lady right? As it contains turmeric, it’ll stain your skin yellow. Usually I’ll masking before double cleansing. But there’s still some stains left on my skin. I thought it was normal until I try this sherbet. There’s a little to no yellow stain left on my skin. Well, I’m shocked actually. Makeup, liquid lipstick, mascara and eyeliner -easy peasy. And it’s not drying out my skin too. I love to use it to use gua sha as well. I don’t need to scoop much to ensure no tugging policy is complied. It is very gentle to my eyes too. It didn’t cause my eyes to be temporarily blind. So, all good! Rating: Obviously 5. I have no complaint.
