What goes well with Raiffles Skin Essence Mist SPF30? It's the Raiffles Deep Cleansing Milk!! Yes, these two when used together give out the best results and I'm so glad that Raiffles gave this duo together. A complete set for a better skin. You guys probably already know about the brand: Raiffles by now since I talked about it in my previous post so I won't be giving my long talk about it then. Now I've heard about essences but having a SPF in them? I mean I've never come across any essences which have SPF included so to learn that my local skincare product has that feature, I am very excited to try this Raiffles Skin Essence Mist SPF30! An essence which treats and gives skin protection against harmful rays....now that's taking essences to a whole new level! ☀️About Raiffles Skin Essence Mist SPF30: The 1st sunscreen Essence SPF30 with Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E in Malaysia! It's really multi-purpose and used as an essence, sunscreen and make up prep spray. This nourishing sunscreen essence mist aims to hydrate and balance skin for a healthier and glowy skin. Its formula contains Caesalpinia Spinosa Fruit and Sunflower Sprout Extract that has anti aging properties and rich in antioxidants to protect skin from sun damage. Not only that, it's formulated to bring moisture to the surface of the skin and improve firmness of skin. This essence also has the extract of Callus Culture plus orange stem cells to detoxify and help restore skin's natural smoothness, increase profileration of skin cells and improve overall condition of tired skin to a fresher, more radiant and better skin. Wow!!! I'm so amazed at everything with this Raiffles Skin Essence Mist SPF30! ☀️Key Ingredients: Orange Stem Cells👉Helps to improve skin elasticity; Reduce wrinkles, Restore skin's natural smoothness and increase collagen production. Sunflower Seed Oil👉Helps to prevent signs of aging; Solve dry skin problems, remove impurities, unclog pores and moisturise skin. Caesalpinia Spinosa Fruit Extract👉This fruit extract is rich in antioxidants and helps to maintain skin barrier. Sunflower Sprouts Extract👉This extract can help to combat skin aging, detoxify skin, provides sun protection and reduce acne and inflammation. ☀️Texture: Vanilla coloured, appears thick when it's put on the skin but liquifies when spreaded across the skin. It has a non greasy, non sticky texture and absorbs just fine into the skin. ☀️Packaging: Standard, minimalist design like the Raiffles Deep Cleansing Milk packaging. The liquid is housed in this 30ml plastic bottle which has a nozzle spray and a transparent cap. Simple typography on its label and list of ingredients are found at the back. This spray bottle is very travel size friendly too. On a side note, I discovered that the nozzle spray is a little tight to press. Like when I pressed its head, I have to pressed a little hard to release the liquid and the downside of having this nozzle spray is that it's difficult to manage how much liquid I want. I pressed the head and a burst of liquid just shoots out. I feel like it's a waste of the liquid to be ejected out this way. Also, it gets messy whenever I pressed its head. Next, there is the secondary packaging which features a soft matte, brown coloured unit carton with embossed reflective geometrical lines in the box, a silver band encircling the box with embossed white coloured words above it in bold and simple typography around the box. Instructions and ingredient are found at the back. ☀️Scent: A fragrant scent. Its fragrance is strong, I have to say here, and it's isn't to my liking. (¯`·._.·Personal Experiences·._.·´¯) I'm all for anything that treats, hydrates and protects my skin against harmful rays so upon receiving the Raiffles Skin Essence Mist SPF30, I was ecstatic to learn that this essence boasted so many features such as being able to use as a sunscreen, hydrating mist and a essence. There are plenty of essences which I tried but none of them had features like this Raiffles Skin Essence Mist SPF30 and not to know that this is a Malaysian brand! Yep, really impressed me. This Raiffles Skin Essence Mist SPF30 came in very handy for me when my skin was feeling dry and itchy. All I did was sprayed it at my face and applied it evenly. Upon applying, my skin felt an instant soothing sensation and soon calmed down the itchiness and hydrated my skin so well. Furthermore, it didn't leave my skin feeling oily and sticky. However, I wouldn't recommend nor use it as my only sunscreen since its SPF is very low-that being 30. I would use this Raiffles Skin Essence Mist SPF30 and then another sunscreen with a higher SPF. A look at its list of ingredients and I could spot out many good ingredients like sunflower seed oil, Vit E orange stem cells and so on. The list of ingredients are really impressive and sunflower seed oil isn't something I see in any other essences' list of ingredients. So this Raiffles Skin Essence Mist SPF30 really is unique. But it's packaging-the nozzle spray is what makes this essence a complete disappointment. Its nozzle head is tight to press and whenever I pressed it, I just ended up wasting some precious essence there. There's no controlling of how much I can pressed out. And the scent is strong too. Like it's really fragrant scented. I, myself, hate the idea of having a lingering fragrant scent on my face. All in all, this Raiffles Skin Essence Mist SPF30 was, if anything, just alright. It did as it was supposed to do. It really hydrated my skin and soothed my redness but as a sunscreen, it's SPF was low so I wouldn't fully depend on this one. I loved the ingredients though and everything else about this Raiffles Skin Essence Mist SPF30 but only the issue with its nozzle spray and its strong scent too.
